Genki’s Manta Controller Packs A Small Mountain Of Features Into A Single Gamepad

Genki, a known gaming accessories manufacturer, has announced the Manta, a premium controller featuring a 2.9-inch LCD screen built directly into the device. Priced at $279, the Manta is designed for players who want complete hardware customization without relying on external software.

The controller’s standout feature is its integrated operating system and display, allowing users to switch profiles, remap buttons, adjust controls, edit macros, and manage connections directly on the device. This eliminates the need for companion apps or desktop software during gameplay.

The Manta is packed with high-end gaming features, including TMR analog sticks, adjustable triggers, and advanced haptic feedback. It offers impressive polling rates—8,000Hz when wired and 1,000Hz wireless—and includes a headphone jack, an increasingly rare feature on modern controllers. The device is compatible with both PC and Switch 2.

The controller’s Kickstarter campaign has significantly exceeded expectations, raising over $371,000 against an initial $100,000 goal. This strong support demonstrates considerable consumer interest in premium, customizable gaming peripherals that offer advanced features typically found only in high-end controllers.
