When is the Next Pokémon TCG Pocket Expansion? Team Rocket’s Ambition Release Date & Launch Times
Pokémon TCG Pocket will receive its next expansion, Team Rocket’s Ambition (the B4a set), launching on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 1 AM UTC. The specific local release time will vary depending on player time zones.
The expansion continues Pokémon TCG Pocket’s regular monthly update schedule, following the previous Ruler of the Skies set. Like prior releases, Team Rocket’s Ambition introduces new cards and collectibles centered on a specific theme—in this case, the Team Rocket faction from the Pokémon franchise.
The monthly release cadence has become a defining characteristic of Pokémon TCG Pocket’s live-service model, keeping the mobile card game regularly updated with fresh content for its dedicated player base. This expansion marks another installment in the pattern of consistent updates, with players gaining access to new card pools and collection opportunities through the game’s gacha mechanics upon each release.
