Gorgeous and hazy pixel art horror farming sim Neverway has been pushed to 2027, but you can at least have a gander at some of the NPCs you can smooch

Neverway, a horror life simulation RPG developed by Coldblood Inc., has been delayed into 2027. The game features pixel art aesthetics and combines elements of both horror and farming simulation genres, with a development team that includes an artist who previously worked on Celeste and a composer known for Fez.

The developer announced the delay via a Steam blog post, explaining that their development philosophy prioritizes ensuring the player experience aligns with the game’s narrative. The team was inspired by the positive reception of the game’s prologue and feedback from internal playtests, which influenced how the later portions of Neverway will take shape.

Despite the delay, the developer has shared new information about the game’s NPCs, which appear to include romantic options available to players. While the game never had an official release target before this announcement, the move to 2027 represents a shift in the development timeline as the team works to refine the gameplay experience and ensure it meets their vision for the project.
