“My main goal is to win the Grand Slam” – tN1R
Team Spirit claimed victory at the Esports World Cup 2026, defeating FUT 3-1 in the Counter-Strike 2 Grand Final at the Accor Arena in Paris. The triumph marked tN1R’s second career trophy and concluded the seven-week international esports competition, which featured 25 winners across 24 titles.
In an interview following the victory, tN1R emphasized the team’s growth throughout the tournament despite early difficulties. “The first matches were really tough for us, but we just kept working on ourselves and improving our game,” he noted. The team focused on building confidence and refining their performance, ultimately delivering strong results in the final stages.
The Grand Final saw Spirit overcome FUT in a tightly contested series. The match opened on Cache, where FUT initially caught Spirit off-guard with their debut roster performance on the map, taking an early lead. However, Spirit’s consistent play allowed them to regain control and maintain competitiveness throughout.
Looking ahead, tN1R has set his sights on an even more prestigious achievement. “My main goal is to win the Grand Slam,” he stated, indicating that despite the EWC victory, the team’s ultimate objective is to capture multiple major tournaments in succession, demonstrating their consistency at the highest level of competitive Counter-Strike 2.
