Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Gets Frame-by-Frame Official LEGO Remake

Marvel Studios, Disney Consumer Products, and LEGO have unveiled an official LEGO-recreation version of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer. This shot-for-shot, beat-for-beat remake of the original live-action trailer—which was released in July—is being distributed as part of the “All Moments Lead to Doomsday” collaborative campaign.

The LEGO trailer features the original voice cast from the film, including Robert Downey Jr. reprising his role as Doctor Doom. By recreating the trailer entirely in LEGO bricks, the collaboration maintains the dramatic storytelling and casting reveals of the original while offering a distinctive visual aesthetic.

One notable advantage of the LEGO version is its simplified visual presentation. The LEGO recreation features significantly fewer chaotic visual effects compared to the live-action counterpart, making certain scenes clearer and more visually digestible without sacrificing narrative impact.

The trailer sets the stage for the multiversal conflict that Avengers: Doomsday will explore, featuring the Avengers alongside the Fox-era X-Men and the Fantastic Four. This marks audiences’ first substantial look at Downey Jr.’s portrayal of Doctor Doom in the MCU, making the LEGO recreation a notable marketing moment despite its playful aesthetic.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to release in December, and this LEGO collaboration represents an innovative approach to blockbuster film marketing.
