Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Is Basically A Netflix Castlevania Reunion
Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is bringing familiar talent back to the franchise. Graham McTavish, known for voicing Dracula in Netflix’s Castlevania animated series, returns to reprise the role for the new game developed by Evil Empire. The protagonist Rose Belmont will be voiced by Abby Trott. McTavish is an experienced voice actor with credits including Killzone, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, and Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
The game represents a significant return for the franchise following an extended hiatus. Scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch in October 2026, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse features gothic environments, exploration gameplay, and challenging boss encounters. The game is being published by Konami and is described as a “good-looking entry in the franchise,” featuring “nightmarish” boss designs and the series’ signature dark fantasy aesthetic.
