Final Fantasy Resonance Has More Going For It Than Just Its Impressive Cast
Square Enix has released new details about Final Fantasy Resonance ahead of its October launch. The game is an HD-2D reimagining of the mobile title Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, drawing narrative and thematic elements from the first season of the original game.
The game features multiple explorable regions, including the Zoldaad Empire, a powerful military nation, and Mysidia, a city renowned for its concentration of mages. Zoldaad plays a pivotal role in the story, serving as the home of the legendary Fire Crystal. According to the revealed details, the empire has been aggressively expanding, secretly constructing a formidable fleet of airships and mass-producing magitek technology as it extends its borders into neighboring territories.
Square Enix has emphasized that the game offers substantial content and systems beyond its notable character roster. The experience includes vision systems, completionist content, detailed world exploration, and character development. These elements combine to provide a full-featured experience that translates the gameplay and world of Brave Exvius into the HD-2D visual style.
