Here’s Your Best Look At Stellar Blade For Switch 2
Shift Up has unveiled fresh gameplay footage of Stellar Blade: Complete Edition ahead of its planned Switch 2 release later this year. The newly released trailer showcases the action game’s signature 2D combat mechanics running on Nintendo’s upcoming hardware, demonstrating that the port maintains the fast-paced, stylish gameplay that characterized the original release.
While the visual presentation successfully translates to the Switch 2, the footage reveals expected technical compromises required to achieve stable performance on the portable console. Despite these optimization efforts, the developers note the game runs adequately on the new hardware, with the overall presentation holding up well for a handheld-to-console conversion.
The accompanying soundtrack, highlighted as a catchy musical accompaniment to the gameplay, remains a notable strength of the presentation. Shift Up has confirmed that Stellar Blade: Complete Edition will arrive on Switch 2 later in 2026, expanding the game’s reach to Nintendo’s audience following successful launches on previous platforms.
