Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Captain Price to recieve new haircut after the internet mocks his beta look
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s beta testing phase has brought unexpected scrutiny to Captain Price, the franchise’s iconic character. Players mocked his redesigned appearance, with particular criticism directed at his new haircut and overall visual presentation. The negative community reaction was significant enough to prompt developer action, with Infinity Ward confirming they will be updating the character model before the game’s full release.
The criticism spread rapidly across social media platforms, with fans expressing disappointment that the redesigned character no longer resembled the legendary Captain Price they knew from previous installments. The community’s response highlights how crucial visual consistency and character design are for beloved gaming figures, especially in a franchise with such an established visual legacy.
In response to the backlash, Infinity Ward has committed to revising Captain Price’s appearance to better align with player expectations and the character’s iconic status. The updated design will be included in the full release version of Modern Warfare 4, demonstrating the developers’ willingness to incorporate community feedback during the beta testing phase.
