GeForce Now is getting support for the Steam Controller
Nvidia is expanding GeForce Now’s controller compatibility by adding official support for Valve’s Steam Controller and Steam Machine later this year. The move enhances cloud gaming experiences for users on Valve’s ecosystem, particularly for Steam Deck and Steam Machine owners who will gain native support for the Steam Controller within the GeForce Now app.
The Steam Controller support will roll out to Steam Deck and Steam Machine users first, with availability on Windows and macOS platforms coming at a later date. This addition reflects the growing convergence between cloud gaming services and specialized gaming hardware, creating a more seamless experience for players invested in Valve’s ecosystem.
Beyond controller support, Nvidia is also introducing new DLSS 4.5 controls for DLSS Super Resolution, further enhancing graphics performance options for GeForce Now users. These upgrades demonstrate Nvidia’s commitment to expanding feature compatibility and improving the cloud gaming experience across multiple platforms and input methods.
