Expanded Onimusha Demo Out Now on PS5, Boasting Another Awesome Boss and More
The Onimusha: Way of the Sword PS5 demo has received a significant expansion update nearly three months after its initial release. Existing demo players can download a 9.6GB patch, while new users can access the full updated version through the PlayStation Store.
The update adds meaningful new content to the preview, including an additional boss encounter and other gameplay enhancements. The substantial patch size indicates not only new content but likely technical improvements as well. This iterative approach to the demo allows Capcom to refine the title ahead of full release while maintaining player engagement through the extended preview period and gathering valuable feedback from the community.
Regular demo updates have become an increasingly common practice among developers, particularly for anticipated releases, providing fans with fresh reasons to revisit the preview and offering developers a low-risk testing ground for new features and balance adjustments before the final launch.
