Some Razer Gaming Gear Is Getting (Slightly Different) Translucent Green Options for Xbox’s 25th Anniversary
Razer has announced Xbox 25th Anniversary Edition versions of its gaming peripherals as part of Microsoft’s celebration of the gaming platform reaching its 25-year milestone. The peripheral manufacturer will release special editions featuring translucent green styling, matching the distinctive design of the limited-edition translucent green Xbox Series X console and controller announced for the anniversary. The collaboration includes at least the BlackWidow V4 keyboard, with additional peripherals expected as part of the full lineup available through Razer’s Xbox 25th Anniversary initiative.
The timing of these announcements coincides with Gamescom, one of the year’s largest gaming industry events, where the Xbox anniversary content has been showcased. The special edition hardware represents an extension of Microsoft’s commemorative efforts beyond the consoles themselves, providing fans and gamers the opportunity to build a fully coordinated setup with matching translucent green accessories. Given the premium pricing of the special edition Xbox Series X console, the Razer peripherals offer players additional ways to celebrate the milestone, with varying price points and product categories to suit different preferences and budgets.
These translucent green peripherals reflect gaming’s ongoing trend of special edition and limited-run hardware releases around significant industry anniversaries. The collaboration between Xbox and Razer demonstrates how platform holders and peripheral manufacturers partner to create cohesive product ecosystems around commemorative events, offering collectors and enthusiasts premium options to mark gaming history.
