Sant’Albano, known for her recent role as Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem, steps into the position weeks after award-winning actress Jennifer English departed the project earlier in 2026 due to personal health concerns.
The announcement was made at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2026 through a new cinematic trailer for the highly anticipated game. In the trailer, Gwendolyn confronts her new reality amidst a devastated London before being inspired by the legendary Guinevere to harness the power of the Fog—a mystical force previously wielded only by King Arthur—to save both London and the otherworldly realm of Avalon from total annihilation. The footage showcases the protagonist embracing her destiny and taking up arms for the coming battle.
Eclipse Glow Games has not yet announced a release date for Tides of Annihilation, though the studio continues to generate anticipation for what’s shaping up to be one of PS5’s most promising upcoming titles.
