Caedrel to race Formula 1 Four-Time Champion Max Verstappen in ‘Max vs 100’ Event
League of Legends co-streaming powerhouse Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont will compete against four-time Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen in an upcoming go-kart racing event called ‘Max vs 100.’
The event, scheduled for September 16, will be streamed on Disney+ and the ESPN app. Taking place at Silverstone, one of motorsport’s most iconic circuits in England, the race will feature Verstappen competing against 100 challengers in an innovative format. Verstappen will start from the back of the grid and must successfully overtake all 100 competitors to claim victory—making it one of the largest go-kart races ever organized.
The 100 competitors include athletes from various disciplines, with confirmed participants including ultrarunner Arda Saatçi and others from different sporting backgrounds. The event is particularly significant as it returns Verstappen to go-kart racing, the sport where his professional motorsport career began as a child.
This high-profile event represents a unique crossover between esports and traditional motorsport, bringing together gaming personalities and athletes from different backgrounds to compete against one of Formula 1’s most dominant drivers in an accessible racing format.
