Chess Content Creator GothamChess Joins BASILISK
BASILISK, an esports organization, has signed prominent chess content creator Levy ‘GothamChess’ Rozman as Head of Chess. Rozman is a renowned YouTube and Twitch streamer who recently worked as an analyst and caster at the Esports World Cup Chess tournament, where Magnus Carlsen successfully defended his title.
In his new role, Rozman will lead BASILISK’s global chess content strategy and oversee the organization’s competitive and long-term initiatives. The appointment strategically pairs BASILISK’s existing competitive roster—including top-10 Grandmasters Vincent Keymer and Anish Giri—with Rozman’s considerable social media influence and content creation expertise. With over 8 million subscribers across his platforms, Rozman brings significant audience reach to the organization.
An International Master and competitive 2353-rated Blitz player, Rozman’s signing reflects BASILISK’s commitment to building a comprehensive chess program that integrates elite competition with content creation aimed at a global audience.
