Stylish Gun-Fu Shooter ‘SPINE’ Coming to PC and Console in Summer 2027
Nekki has announced that SPINE, its upcoming stylish gun-fu shooter, will launch on PC and consoles in Summer 2027. The developer, known for previous titles Vector and Shadow Fight, revealed the news on August 26 alongside a new gameplay trailer.
SPINE is positioned as a fresh take on the single-player action genre, combining multiple perspectives with slick gunplay and a cyberpunk aesthetic. The game features a strong narrative component alongside its high-octane combat mechanics. The visual style and gameplay loop deliver what the developer describes as “seriously high-octane energy.”
The game gained early attention following a hands-on demo at Summer Game Fest 2025, where players experienced the fusion of its gunplay systems and narrative-driven design firsthand. The cyberpunk setting and frenetic action sequences generated positive impressions among those who sampled the title.
With a Summer 2027 release window now confirmed, SPINE is set to launch within the next year across multiple platforms, though specific console versions have not yet been detailed.
