The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launches October 29
Telltale Games’ acclaimed 2013 adventure title The Wolf Among Us is being brought back for modern platforms with a comprehensive remaster launching October 29, 2026. The announcement was made during Summer Games Fest 2026, with new gameplay footage shown at Gamescom 2026 the same month.
Players will take on the role of Bigby, a noir-inspired interpretation of the Big Bad Wolf who serves as sheriff of Fabletown. The game’s mystery-driven narrative has players investigating a murder while interacting with characters drawn from classic fairy tales.
The remaster will be available across multiple platforms: PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch (with support for both the original Switch and Switch 2).
The remastered version brings substantial improvements over the original, including enhanced visuals for modern displays and improved performance optimization. New accessibility features have been implemented to make the game more playable for a wider audience. Among the most notable additions is a “Noir Mode” that lets players experience the entire game in black and white, giving the noir-themed detective story an appropriately atmospheric visual style.
Beyond technical improvements, the remaster includes over an hour of bonus content, providing additional material for longtime fans and newcomers alike. The 13-year gap since the original’s release means the remaster introduces The Wolf Among Us to a new generation of players while giving longtime fans a chance to revisit Fabletown with modern technical enhancements.
