Avengers: Endgame Encore Disney+ Release Looks Likely, Fans Say
Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame Encore, a theatrical re-release of the 2019 film, appears headed to Disney+ following its theatrical run, according to a Disney+ listing discovered by fans. The streaming service page, which is currently live, allows viewers to watch the re-release’s trailer, despite Disney having made no official announcement about a streaming debut. The studio has so far positioned the Endgame Encore as a theatrical-only event.
The anticipated Disney+ release aligns with recent comments from Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo, who have described Endgame as “required viewing” for the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film. These remarks from the filmmakers have circulated widely online, suggesting the re-release serves as essential preparation for Marvel’s next major installment. The discovery of the Disney+ listing adds weight to speculation that Disney plans to make the remastered version available to streaming subscribers once its theatrical window concludes.
