Is Forza Horizon 6 on PS5 Still on Course for Release in 2026?
Forza Horizon 6 is confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5 following an announcement in January 2026, though the release will arrive later than the Xbox and PC versions. Currently, Microsoft and developer Playground Games have only provided an official target date of 2026 for the PS5 port, without specifying an exact month or quarter. This marks a significant expansion for the Forza Horizon franchise, bringing the racing series to PlayStation for the first time. The staggered release approach is typical for major platform-exclusive titles that later receive ports to competing consoles, allowing developers to maintain focus on the primary platform launch before diverting resources to secondary versions. Given the current date in late 2026, uncertainty surrounds whether the PS5 version remains on track to meet its 2026 deadline, as no specific release window or recent updates have been communicated to players.
