Manor Lords celebrates 4 million copies sold with a new major update which gives players the chance to become ‘a cow-herding mogul’

Manor Lords, the medieval management simulation, has surpassed 4 million copies sold across all platforms, marking a significant milestone for the indie title. To celebrate, the developers are releasing Major Update 8, which introduces substantial gameplay expansions focused on agricultural production and livestock management.

The update adds new production chains including cider-making from apples and mead production from honey. Players can now thresh oats to create feed for both human populations and livestock, deepening the economic simulation. Most notably, the update introduces livestock breeding and importing systems centered on cattle, allowing players to become what the developers describe as a “cow-herding mogul” with expanded herd management capabilities.

These additions represent meaningful expansions to Manor Lords’ core management loop, giving players more specialized economic opportunities and greater depth in settlement development.
