Project Motor Racing Adding Nine New Cars, New Track Next Month
Project Motor Racing is receiving a significant content update with the V8 Power Pack DLC, launching on September 15. Developed by Giants Software and Straight4 Studios, the pack adds nine V8 race cars spanning multiple racing eras and introduces Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta as a new fully-scanned track.
The expansion is organized into three new vehicle classes. The “V8 Evo” class features 2023 Australian-spec versions of the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro, representing modern competition from Australia’s Supercars racing series. The “USV8” class brings American muscle to the lineup with 2022 Trans-Am models: the Dodge Challenger TA/2, Ford Mustang TA/2, and Chevrolet Camaro TA/2. For players interested in racing heritage, the “Historic USV8” class offers classic muscle cars configured in their historic Trans-Am racing trim, including a 1970 Ford model.
The inclusion of Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta as a fully-scanned venue adds both a celebrated racing destination and authentic recreation to the game. Located in Georgia, Road Atlanta is known as a premier road course hosting various professional racing series. The combination of new vehicles spanning vintage, modern, and contemporary racing eras alongside the new track provides diverse content for enthusiasts of different racing periods and styles.
