What time are the Sonic power hours in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4?
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is launching special Sonic power hours on Saturday, August 29th, featuring increased spawn rates for the Sonic sprite within the game. Players can collect these sprites to gain sprint speed boosts with each level progression, allowing them to run at velocities comparable to the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog character. The collected Sonic sprite items serve dual purposes: they can be displayed as a back bling cosmetic once released, or utilized during gameplay for enhanced mobility benefits.
The first set of Sonic power hours runs from 2-4 p.m. EDT on August 29th, with the article noting that a second set is also scheduled, though specific times for the second session are not provided in the available excerpt. This event represents another crossover collaboration within Fortnite’s live-service ecosystem, continuing Epic Games’ strategy of integrating popular franchises and recognizable characters to maintain player engagement and drive seasonal activity.
