CD Projekt Red has revealed the technical specifications for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered coming to Nintendo Switch 2. The game will target 1080p resolution in docked mode and 720p in handheld mode, with both modes aiming for 30-40fps performance. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology will be implemented to smooth frame rate fluctuations, and players using 120Hz-compatible displays can expect frame rates closer to 40fps in docked mode.
The livestream announcement also confirmed that the port will feature mouse and gyro control options, providing players with flexible input preferences. These specifications represent a significant technical achievement for the Switch 2, successfully bringing a demanding AAA open-world RPG to the hybrid console without major visual compromises.
