The Wolf Among Us Remastered Unveils ‘Noir Mode’ And Official Release Date
The Wolf Among Us Remastered has been officially dated for October 29th, 2026 on Xbox platforms (Xbox One, Series X, and Series S). The remaster represents a “rebuilt and refined” version of Telltale Games’ acclaimed narrative adventure that originally launched on Xbox 360.
The remaster features significant modernization across multiple fronts. Visually, it includes enhanced graphics, refined character and environment presentation, and higher resolution support. The game also benefits from improved animation and audio, smoother performance, and an updated user interface designed for contemporary systems.
Beyond the gameplay improvements, the remaster includes over an hour of behind-the-scenes content, providing additional value for both longtime fans and newcomers to Bigby’s dark Fables world. The announcement was made during Gamescom 2026, continuing a busy week of gaming announcements across various showcases, though The Wolf Among Us Remastered didn’t receive as much media spotlight as some other titles.
