GTA 6 Developer Reaffirms The Game’s Release Date
Grand Theft Auto 6’s November 2026 release date has been reaffirmed by Rob Nelson of Rockstar North, dismissing ongoing speculation about potential delays. The game has faced two previous postponements—originally scheduled for 2025, then pushed back to May 2026 before a subsequent delay—contributing to skepticism within the gaming community about the reliability of the current release window.
In an interview with Japanese publication Famitsu, Nelson addressed questions about the game’s November 19 launch date with confidence, expressing enthusiasm about the game’s quality. His reassurance aligns with multiple other developers from the studio who have similarly confirmed the release date in recent media appearances, including prominent coverage that began with the game’s major preview aired on Netflix.
Despite the history of postponements, those involved in development appear committed to the November timeline. Nelson’s public statements represent another layer of confirmation from the creative team working on one of the gaming industry’s most anticipated releases.
