Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu gets first trailer
The Pokémon Company International and acclaimed stop-motion animation studio Aardman have unveiled the first trailer for Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu, a new animated series set in the Galar region. The teaser premiered at Pokémon XP in San Francisco on August 28th during an exclusive Behind the Scenes panel with Aardman.
The series follows Sirfetch’d and Pichu as unlikely heroes embarking on a gallant quest to protect Pokémon across Galar. Though their missions rarely go according to plan, the duo’s noble deeds forge and strengthen their unlikely friendship as they brave the unknown. The story promises peril, alliances, rivalries, and encounters with extraordinary Pokémon.
This marks a notable collaboration between the Pokémon franchise and Aardman, the renowned British animation studio celebrated for its distinctive stop-motion work. The project represents an expansion of Pokémon’s diversified media strategy, bringing fresh animated content to fans alongside the games and existing series.
