Video: Here’s What 007 First Light Looks Like Running On Switch 2
007 First Light is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, with impressive early impressions from hands-on time at Gamescom. The upcoming port was demonstrated running on Switch 2 in docked mode, where it maintains its 30fps performance target consistently throughout gameplay. While the visual presentation features some expected compromises compared to other versions, the overall quality remains solid and serviceable for the portable hardware.
The demonstration showed promising results for the ambitious port, suggesting that developer attention has successfully adapted the game for Switch 2’s capabilities. The footage captured during Gamescom indicates that performance is stable, with the 30fps target being met reliably rather than fluctuating. Visual downgrades are acknowledged as necessary concessions for the platform transition, but were deemed acceptable trade-offs for bringing the title to Nintendo’s newest handheld console.
