LEGO Officially Reveals Wallace & Gromit-Themed Set
LEGO has officially revealed its first Wallace & Gromit-themed set, bringing the beloved British stop-motion duo to the toy brick format. The 1,038-piece set, priced at $99.99, is available for pre-order on the official LEGO Store with an October 1 release date.
The set features Wallace and Gromit’s iconic motorbike with an attached sidecar, based on their appearance in the 1995 film A Close Shave. Both characters are poseable figures with jointed arms, while Gromit includes articulated ear flaps. The design captures the charm of the classic clay characters and their vintage aesthetic.
As part of LEGO’s Ideas line—a program where fan-designed sets are voted on and selected for official production—the Wallace & Gromit set was created by designer Sébastien Esnault and submitted to the “90s Throwback - The Next Chapter” challenge. The set is packed with nostalgic Easter eggs referencing the entire Wallace & Gromit film series, including Wallace’s crackers from A Grand Day Out, a diamond from The Wrong Trousers, and a yarn ball from A Close Shave, delighting longtime fans of the franchise.
