Capcom Spotlight Set for Tokyo Game Show 2026

Capcom has announced a 40-minute Spotlight presentation for Tokyo Game Show 2026, scheduled for September 16 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. The livestream will feature the latest news on the company’s upcoming games and releases, with subtitles available in 13 languages to reach international audiences. The event coincides with Tokyo Game Show’s 30th anniversary celebration, which marks the inaugural five-day format for the event, attracting over 1,000 exhibitors worldwide.

Capcom’s presence extends beyond the digital presentation—the company will maintain a physical booth with game exhibitions and interactive activities for attendees. The publisher noted that some showcase content may not be suitable for all ages, suggesting mature-rated titles may be featured.

This announcement comes as Capcom celebrates significant recent success. In its latest fiscal year, the company achieved record digital sales, accounting for 93% of total revenue. The company’s recent release, Resident Evil: Requiem, became both one of this year’s best-selling games and the fastest-selling entry in the Resident Evil franchise, indicating strong momentum heading into the Tokyo Game Show presentation.
