CD Projekt Red sees profit climb 37% in H1 2026

CD Projekt Red reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026, with revenue climbing 23% year-over-year to $116.5 million (435 million PLN). Net profit grew even more impressively, surging 37% to $66.7 million (249 million PLN), while achieving a net profitability margin of 57.2%.

The growth is bolstered by continued momentum from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which has now sold over 65 million copies worldwide, with the entire Witcher franchise surpassing 90 million copies sold. To capitalize on this success, CD Projekt Red has outlined a three-year release roadmap for The Witcher series.

Central to this plan is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered, launching September 29 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2 (marking the franchise’s native debut on the platform). The remaster will be provided free to existing base game owners and includes both previously released expansions. Additionally, CD Projekt Red has partnered with Blizzard Entertainment to bring the remaster and the upcoming “Songs of the Past” expansion to Battle.net, expanding distribution and accessibility.

The announcement reflects the developer’s confidence in The Witcher 3’s continued commercial viability and relevance, even as it prepares new franchise entries.
