You Can Watch A Cow Play Eve Online Right Now
Fenris Creations has launched an unusual promotional event featuring a livestreaming cow playing Eve Online. The cow, named Valva with the in-game username FC CapitalCowPilot, is streaming live from Iceland, operating a mining vessel in the game’s deep space operations. The novelty setup includes ‘cow-proof’ buttons installed in Valva’s pen that trigger in-game actions when stepped on, allowing the bovine player to interact with the game. A voiceover narrator provides entertaining commentary and cow facts to viewers tuning into the Twitch broadcast. The event appears to have generated significant interest, with over 200 players watching at the time the article was written. The stunt was inspired by the recent release of Fenris Creations’ update ‘Cradle of War’ to their spacefaring MMO, which the community quickly abbreviated to ‘CoW’—a shorthand that apparently prompted the developer to create an actual cow-playing version of the game.
