FFVII Revelation DLC Feature Sephiroth And Vincent, Extending The Story Into 2028
Square Enix has announced two major story expansions for Final Fantasy VII Revelation following the game’s April 8, 2027 release. The paid DLC packs will focus on iconic characters Sephiroth and Vincent Valentine alongside the Turks, extending the narrative of the FF7 Remake trilogy beyond its main conclusion.
The first expansion centers on Sephiroth, while the second is titled “Vincent and the Turks.” Both will release between Winter 2027 and Spring 2028. Players can purchase the expansions individually or as part of a Story Expansion Pass, with the game’s Premium Edition bundling the main title alongside the expansion pass.
Director Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed the announcement on social media, noting that the DLC packs represent highly requested content from fans and media. This marks significant post-launch support for the final entry in the FF7 Remake project, which has spanned seven years of development across all three games. While pricing details for the individual DLC packs remain unspecified, Square Enix’s commitment to paid story expansions signals ambitious plans for one of the industry’s most anticipated role-playing game franchises.
