Fall 2026 Games, Movies, TV, and Books: Everything We’re Excited For
Polygon has announced a comprehensive Fall 2026 entertainment preview covering games, movies, television, and books. Despite concerns that Grand Theft Auto 6’s November release might dominate the season, the publication found an extensive slate of worthwhile content arriving across autumn and early December 2026.
The preview features exclusive interviews with director Zach Cregger discussing the upcoming Resident Evil film, positioned as particularly relevant to Polygon’s audience. Gaming coverage includes exclusive looks at a Baldur’s Gate 3 prequel, next-generation technical innovations in Ace Combat 8, and a curated selection of indie titles expected to escape mainstream attention. Marvel’s VisionQuest is highlighted as a trilogy-concluding installment.
Additional entertainment highlights include references to Friday the 13th, Steel Ball Run, and The Lord of the Rings adaptations. Polygon promises comprehensive calendar lists and in-depth coverage of fall 2026’s entertainment landscape across all major media categories.
