The best tech and gadgets announced at IFA so far
IFA 2026, Europe’s largest consumer technology showcase, has opened its doors to the public in Berlin following a week of announcements. The event features numerous innovative gadgets and device upgrades showcasing the latest developments in consumer electronics.
Among the standout announcements are several notable innovations. A new smartphone design aims to eliminate traditional screen bezels, representing a significant advancement in display technology and industrial design. A sophisticated robotic vacuum system features a dual-unit design—a larger primary robot paired with a smaller companion unit that can navigate spaces the main vacuum cannot access, addressing a persistent limitation of larger robovacs. The expanding-screen laptop category continues to evolve with new models demonstrated at the show.
These announcements reflect ongoing industry trends toward maximizing usable screen space, improving robotic cleaning efficiency, and creating more versatile portable computing devices. IFA 2026 continues its tradition as a major platform for technology manufacturers to unveil new products and innovations targeting European and global markets.
