Who needs Marvel’s Wolverine on Xbox when Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance’s savagely improved Dual Blades will give you the same dopamine rush?

Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is promoting its action-hunting gameplay through a series of daily trailers showcasing the game’s 14 weapon types and the new Boost Bracer mechanic. Following the release of an epic story trailer, the developer has shifted focus to highlighting individual weapons, with the third video in the ongoing campaign dedicated to the Dual Blades.

The Dual Blades are positioned as the fastest melee weapon type in Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance. Players wield a pair of daggers to engage monsters in rapid, close-range combat, delivering significant burst damage through swift successive attacks. A key feature of the weapon is its unique defensive capability: players can achieve brief invincibility by timing their dodge to coincide with incoming enemy attacks, rewarding precise timing and skillful play.

The Boost Bracer mechanic is designed to enhance weapon capabilities across the game’s arsenal. Through these targeted daily trailers, the developer continues building anticipation by showcasing the depth and variety of combat options available to players. The game is forthcoming on Xbox and Windows platforms.
