When Does WARDOGS Closed Beta Playtest End? How to Play WARDOGS Playtest
WARDOGS is approaching a significant milestone with its Closed Beta Playtest, a limited-access testing phase designed to help developers at BULKHEAD identify and fix issues before the game’s early access launch. The playtest is generating substantial interest, with BULKHEAD managing the large number of players seeking access.
The Closed Beta Playtest is scheduled to conclude on September 6, 2026, at Sunday AM UTC. However, the developers have indicated flexibility regarding the end date, leaving open the possibility of extending the playtest period if necessary. This timing coincides with Labor Day in the United States, a factor that may influence player availability and the developers’ decision on whether to extend testing.
Players granted access to the playtest are encouraged to participate in what BULKHEAD frames as an opportunity to “come break things”—intensive testing and bug discovery. The limited nature of this beta serves as a final quality assurance phase before the game transitions to its early access release window.
