Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 648
PushSquare has adjusted the publishing schedule for its weekly “What Are You Playing” (WAYP) column, moving to Friday evening following positive reader feedback. The change was motivated by an accidental early publication last week, released 12 hours ahead of schedule, which generated enthusiasm from the community who viewed Friday evening as part of their weekend.
The publication is testing this new earlier timing to accommodate readers who prefer accessing the weekend gaming column on Friday rather than waiting for the traditional release day. The decision reflects the publication’s responsiveness to community preferences regarding content timing.
This week’s column features contributors discussing their weekend gaming plans, including titles such as Alien Fireteam Elite 2 and Onimusha: Way of the Sword on PlayStation 5. PushSquare plans to continue monitoring reader response to determine whether to maintain the new Friday evening publishing schedule permanently.
