Need More Resident Evil? This Manga Will Bring an All-Star Ensemble to Print
Titan Comics has announced plans to publish an English-language manga adaptation of the CG film Resident Evil: Death Island. The manga, illustrated by Zino, brings together a diverse ensemble of iconic characters from the Resident Evil franchise, including protagonist Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, and additional fan-favorite characters from across the series’ history.
The adaptation is launching in English next month through Titan Comics. This move follows the success of the Resident Evil: Death Island CG film, which itself brought together multiple characters from the franchise for a collaborative adventure set on Alcatraz Island.
The manga format allows fans of the Resident Evil series to experience the Death Island story in a new medium, with illustrated storytelling offering a different perspective from the original film. This represents Capcom’s continued effort to expand its zombie-survival franchise beyond traditional video game releases into other entertainment formats and mediums, including anime adaptations, theatrical films, and now illustrated manga series.
