EA FC 27 Release Date Countdown & Exact Start Times
EA Sports has announced the release schedule for EA FC 27, the latest installment in the long-running sports gaming franchise. The game follows EA’s multi-year transition from the FIFA branded title to the independently developed EA FC series.
The title will see a staggered release across two dates. Players who purchase the Ultimate Edition will gain early access starting September 18, allowing them to begin playing a full week before the standard launch. The complete public release for all players is scheduled for September 25.
EA FC 27 introduces a significant new feature with an open-world mode, adding fresh gameplay opportunities beyond the series’ traditional match-based gameplay and card-collecting Ultimate Team mode. This represents EA Sports’ continued evolution of the franchise as it adapts to player preferences and market competition in the sports gaming space.
The two-tier release window—early access for premium purchasers followed by a general launch—has become standard practice for major franchise releases, allowing EA Sports to capitalize on dedicated players willing to pay for early entry while building momentum for the broader release week.
