Sexy Fire Emblem-Inspired Game Food Devils Officially Claims November Release
Food Devils, an upcoming strategy RPG from Studio Daimon, will launch on November 5, 2026, according to an exclusive announcement by Polygon. The game is positioned as a late-year indie title that blends multiple gameplay genres into a cohesive experience.
The game centers on players taking on the role of a chef recruiting demons to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The core gameplay loop combines three distinct mechanics: tactical combat, restaurant management, and dating simulation elements. Players attract demons both physically and romantically by cooking for them. To obtain the necessary cooking ingredients, players engage in grid-based tactical battles reminiscent of Fire Emblem games, hunting and killing enemies for resources.
Between combat encounters, players customize and operate their own restaurant, serving food to adventurers and other visitors. This restaurant management layer appears designed to attract attention and build the player’s reputation in the game world. The combination of Fire Emblem-style tactical RPG mechanics with restaurant customization and romance/dating sim gameplay distinguishes Food Devils within the indie game landscape.
The game has generated early interest ahead of its launch, with the tactical gameplay paired with unconventional demon recruitment and restaurant management systems creating what Polygon describes as an “eclectic yet engrossing” experience. The autumn release date positions the title as a potential standout indie game for the latter half of 2026.
