Valve has reportedly made £11bn from Steam already in 2026, and biggest earning new arrival is Forza Horizon 6

Valve has generated $15 billion (approximately £11.10 billion) in revenue from Steam during 2026, according to analysis from Alinea Analytics. This income encompasses sales of games, DLC, and software across the platform.

Forza Horizon 6 has emerged as Steam’s highest-earning new release in 2026, generating an estimated $210.5 million (£155.74 million) in revenue for Valve. The open-world racing game significantly leads the platform’s new releases by financial performance.

Crimson Desert ranks as the second-most lucrative new release, contributing $203.3 million (£150.42 million) in revenue. The close revenue figures between these two titles reflect strong competition among major gaming releases on the platform in 2026.
