Xbox Game Pass Adds A Great Call Of Duty Game Today

Xbox Game Pass has added Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War to its subscription service as of September 8. The 2020 title, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, is now available to subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass, with full support for cloud streaming.

Set during 1981 in the Cold War era, Black Ops Cold War features a single-player campaign that follows Agent Russell Adler and his team as they hunt for a Soviet spy codenamed Perseus. In addition to its campaign, the game includes competitive multiplayer modes and the popular Zombies mode. Upon its original 2020 release, Black Ops Cold War became a commercial success, ranking as the year’s best-selling game in the United States.

This addition is part of a broader expansion of Game Pass’s library during September. The service will receive additional titles including The Royal Writ and Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage on September 10, followed by RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15.
