Beast locations for Beastmaster’s bestiary in FFXIV
Final Fantasy XIV’s second limited job, Beastmaster, has officially launched with patch 7.56, allowing players to collect monsters to fight alongside them. Following in the footsteps of the existing Blue Mage limited job, Beastmaster is designed primarily for solo content and cannot be used in regular quests, dungeons, or group activities.
Like Blue Mage, players must travel around Eorzea collecting beasts and their logs to populate their bestiary before fully engaging with combat. Beastmaster was previously teased in the Shadowbringers expansion, but is now playable after years of anticipation. The job features its own variant of Blue Mage’s Masked Carnival challenge, providing dedicated endgame content for players pursuing the Beastmaster role.
As a limited job, Beastmaster offers a specialized, solo-focused playstyle that complements rather than replaces the main job system, allowing players to experience a distinct gameplay experience while maintaining access to traditional group content through other jobs.
