LoL Patch 26.18 Patch Notes: Huge Cassio Changes and More
Riot Games has released Patch 26.18 for League of Legends, introducing multiple balance changes and new content. The patch, delayed one day due to a US bank holiday, brings adjustments to several champions and exciting additions to the game.
One notable feature is the release of Hall of Legends skins dedicated to professional player Rasmus ‘Caps’ Winther, celebrating his legacy in competitive League of Legends. Additionally, Riot has announced that team-wide voice chat functionality will be added to the game, with the rollout beginning in Patch 26.20 across select servers.
In terms of balance adjustments, the patch targets champions that have dominated the meta throughout the year. Bard, who has been a staple pick in professional and ranked play, receives durability nerfs, with base armor reduced from 34 + 5 per level to 32 + 4.7 per level. Nautilus, another strong performer in the support role, also receives nerfs as Riot continues efforts to rebalance the champion roster and promote diversity in the support meta.
