Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 Remakes Are Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 Very Soon
Capcom has announced that the remakes of Resident Evil 2, 3, and 4 will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, expanding the survival horror franchise’s presence on Nintendo’s latest console. The announcement was made during a Nintendo Direct presentation.
The digital versions of all three games will launch on October 16, 2026, with physical copies following in January 2027. Each title will be sold individually rather than exclusively as a bundle, allowing players to purchase only the entries they’re interested in.
The Switch 2 ports will include all associated DLC content, including Resident Evil 4’s Separate Ways expansion that follows Ada Wong. These are native ports rather than cloud versions, marking the first native release of Resident Evil 3 on Switch hardware. Pre-orders began immediately following the announcement.
