Permanent New Drift Attack Feature Active Now in Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 has introduced Drift Attack, a dedicated drifting mode now permanently available in the game. The mode functions similarly to the existing Time Attack feature, launching directly from the open world without requiring additional loading screens or lobby systems—players simply drive through a starting gantry to begin.

Set on the Shimanoyama Circuit track, Drift Attack uses a familiar scoring system based on Horizon Drift and Drift Zones mechanics. The mode introduces a new gameplay layer with “Clipping Zones” positioned around the circuit that award bonus points when players execute drifts within their marked boundaries, adding strategic depth to drifting runs.

Like Time Attack, Drift Attack features integrated in-world leaderboards that allow players to compete against others on the same course. The mode has been seamlessly incorporated into the game’s existing infrastructure, providing a dedicated space for players focused on mastering drifting techniques.
