6 Upcoming Steam Games That Should Be on Your Wishlist
Polygon’s Wishlister newsletter has curated its latest selection of six upcoming Steam games recommended for players to add to their wishlists. The weekly publication, distributed via email every Tuesday with site publication on Fridays, provides readers with a focused roundup of noteworthy and upcoming titles worth tracking.
This edition draws its selections directly from Gamescom, the major annual gaming expo where Polygon staff attended and had hands-on experience with numerous titles throughout the event. Rather than limiting coverage to announcement-focused presentations like Opening Night Live (which was featured in the prior week’s edition), this week’s Wishlister emphasizes games the team experienced directly through extended hands-on play sessions on the expo floor.
Polygon expresses strong confidence that all six games featured in this edition warrant being wishlisted by Steam users. The emphasis on hands-on experience suggests these picks are grounded in direct gameplay impressions rather than marketing materials or corporate announcements alone, offering readers carefully curated recommendations based on firsthand evaluation and professional assessment.
