The Witcher 3 Geralt Skin for Diablo 4 Barbarians Revealed — but There’s a Catch
Blizzard and CD Projekt Red have announced a crossover collaboration between Diablo 4 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, unveiled during BlizzCon 2026 following an earlier teaser at Gamescom. The centerpiece is a Geralt of Rivia-themed Barbarian skin for Diablo 4, allowing players to equip the White Wolf from CD Projekt Red’s acclaimed RPG.
However, the collaboration comes with a significant restriction: the Geralt skin is exclusively tied to CD Projekt Red’s upcoming expansion, Songs of the Past. To obtain the skin, players must pre-order or purchase the expansion through Battle.net, Blizzard’s digital platform. This creates a platform-exclusive arrangement that excludes PC players on Steam and other storefronts, as well as console players on PlayStation and Xbox who cannot access Battle.net’s ecosystem.
The expansion is currently available for wishlist addition on Battle.net. While the partnership represents a major collaboration between two gaming powerhouses, the Battle.net exclusivity has already drawn scrutiny as a notable catch for players seeking to add this crossover content to their Diablo 4 characters.
