Team17 owner Everplay increases shareholding in Wardogs dev Bulkhead, touts strong FY26 results
Everplay, the owner of publisher Team17, has increased its shareholding in developer Bulkhead following the strong early access launch of their game Wardogs. The game surpassed one million copies sold after entering early access on September 10, 2026, and is outperforming expectations alongside Expression Games’ Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
Bulkhead’s ownership structure recently changed when Tencent sold the studio to a consortium in December 2025 consisting of Everplay, Super Media Group, and Hiro Capital. The increased investment by Everplay reflects confidence in the developer’s trajectory.
In its half-year unaudited financial results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, Everplay reported mixed performance despite the strong game launches. The company’s revenue decreased 8% to £66.9 million, while profit fell 29% to £23.9 million. Despite these headline declines, Everplay remains optimistic about full-year 2026 results, attributed to the outperformance of Wardogs and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam.
