Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Director Apologizes For PC Launch Issues
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched on PlayStation 5 and PC on August 6, but the two versions received drastically different reactions from players. While the console version was positively received, the PC release suffered from significant technical problems including stability and performance issues that frustrated the player base.
Director Kazuto Sekine of Arc System Works recently issued an apology for the PC launch troubles in a Steam post, acknowledging the ongoing performance issues. The developer stated that the team is “currently making progress on improvements to the PC version so that everyone can enjoy the game to the fullest.” Multiple patches have been released since launch, though improvements have been marginal, with many players still experiencing performance problems.
Beyond technical fixes, Sekine also announced upcoming balance changes to address the game’s most complained-about mechanic: assist spam. The studio plans to increase the cooldown period before assists become available again—a change affecting both PC and PlayStation versions. These adjustments reflect Arc System Works’ commitment to improving the overall player experience based on community feedback.
